Who or what is Loopy? Loopy is a werewolf.  A cross between a wolf and a man, with some siberian husky bred in too.  Somebody said to me, "I hate to tell ya but that is the cutest werewolf I've ever seen.." YEAH that's right! A cross between a man and a wolf, wolves are cute, they are not snarling, killing machines. So Loopy is cute, cause wolves are cute (and some people are too).. He is also part dog (husky to be exact) which is why he has white fluffy fur and a curled-up tail. C'mon people.. these are the 90's, time to let go of the stereotypes.

The costume is a partial biped, functioning on two or four legs(RIGHT), and unlike Korul, gives me 100% agility and 100% visibility (I can cartwheel in the Loopy suit and often do.)  One of the neatest things is how the tail swishes back and fro when I walk on all fours.  I can also make it wag with a subtle body movement cause it's right on my spine.

Hugmetite! A werewolf's weaknessAt Archon21 I had a human transformation sequence.. (see Awards) I went from person to a werewolf onstage. I won Best Presentation (maybe for that), and Best Construction, maybe for the legs.. I dunno.. but best of all, and this is true, was the fuss people made over Loopy walkin' around. Oh they love Korul there's no doubt, but people make innuendo at Loopy that they never make at the gargoyle.. comments about my "cute tail" and "doggy-style" (and aa few unwelcome others I won't print here.. ahem) and they pet me and stroke me and whatnot.. Also, this costume reaches small children.. who come up and pet it maybe the way I felt about Puss n Boots when I was little. It was just so nice for Loopy to finally be out of the shadow of his older brother..! (LEFT) I love it when people hug me tight!

Loopy Loopy... Ball Ball!!is a costume very dear to my heart and was a real bitch (no offense loopy) to build.. and takes a lot of maintenance.  Much harder than the gargoyle because so many of the measurements were things on my own body that I had to try, fail, try again, fail, arg!  I was determined upon making this to make Loopy the way I thought a werewolf should look, i.e., a cross between a wolf and a man, not a ferocious 7ft 300lb snarling killing machine, which I always thought was silly.  Cats are lone killers, wolves have to hunt in packs, and they don't kill for pleasure, that's our species, unfortunately :/.
Loopy's feet are very special. They're DIGITIGRADE which means that they have an extra joint below the knee like a dog (you can see this in the big picture below) They are also built so that I can walk on all fours like a dog. When I bend my legs, the extra joint bends too, BUT they don't hamper my agility at all. That was NO MEAN FEAT (no pun intended) let me tell you...

In the Company of Wolves: Loopy is a proud member of Haunted Verdun Manor wolf pack (LEFT), even though he's not a proper werewolf.  Oh no, it's not cause he's part dog, it's because he washes and styles his fur and tries to look nice, and wags his tail.  The Verdun Manor wolves are ORTHODOX, they snarl, they hunt, they scare people.  They try to reform Loopy, try to get him not to brush his fur and be friendly.
But they are very cool guys.  Verdun Manor is possibly the only place on Earth where Werewolves come first and are not second-class (even half-blooded ones.)  It is also the coolest haunted house on Earth.  They live with some real wolves in Terrell Texas, far away. The haunted houses here in Montreal are not cool, and most places are Vampires Only clubs.

The digitigrade design for the legs is a secret I intend to keep, sorry guys.
